Writing Sample: Yellow MoonHigh up in the sky, the stars shown brightly down upon me. The rain had passed, and a crisp, refreshing breeze gently moved across the playground. The town was quite; only a faint noise could be heard coming from the bowling alley. The summer night seemed endless, and it was here that I lay, gazing endlessly into the infinity that floated above me from a picnic table. The silence was comforting. So often, it is hard to lose one self in amongst their thoughts. Too often, thoughts race inside of the brain, hindering the chance we have to be one with nature, to just be…at peace.
